Sodium pyrophosphate

Sodium pyrophosphate is an inorganic compound, the sodium salt of pyrophosphate acid. It is used as a stabilizer, water-retaining agent, emulsifier, improver of the structure and texture of the product, its taste, antioxidant, antibacterial additive, baking powder, to regulate the level of acidity, stabilize color, increase shelf life, increase product yield by weight. In the chemical industry, it is a raw material for the synthesis of potassium, calcium and magnesium pyrophosphates.
